Shanghai government decided to build a grand overpass on Chengdu Road, thus buildings need to be demolished and hundreds of households have to be relocated. This documenytary, shot from summer 1993 to early 1994, focused on 6 of these households.
A young girl from Korea was forced into sex slavery as "Comfort Women" by the Japanese during World War II. After she escaped, she married to a Chinese farmer and settled in China. Now half a century later, she is going back to Korea and find her relatives.
