Will Hine, performing as Whiney, is a drum & bass producer and DJ from Coventry, UK. He began studying classical instruments (violin and piano) around age 7 and was introduced to drum & bass at 14, marking the start of his musical journey. Whiney’s debut album, Talisman (2017), earned nominations for Best Album, Best Newcomer, and Best Track at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards. Its lead single, “Flashlight” featuring Inja, topped Beatport’s drum & bass chart for two weeks Songs In The Key Of Knife. Whiney has collaborated with vocal artists including Inja, Subten, MC GQ, and P Money, working closely with P Money on projects like Streets, Love & Other Stuff (2023), which featured singles such as “Buss The Red” and “Dead In The Eye (feat. Example)” Drum and Bass UK. His production work also includes tracks for Inja’s 2021 album Smile & Wave, and extensive remixes and sync placements across BT Sports, FIFA, Need for Speed, Forza, and GRIP.
