A young girl searches for a suitable job to support herself and her sick mother, and finally gets a modest job as a nurse in a clinic. A love story develops between her and the doctor whose clinic she works in. The doctor deceives her, she makes a mistake with him, and he refuses to marry her.

As for the third story, it depicts the tools of feudalism in wresting the land from the peasants.
