She decides she will do better for herself, and is determined to achieve the American Dream. One day while making a delivery, she stumbles upon an underground world of immigrant women in Grand Central station. This world is called the "Golden Palace". She finds a new friend in Lily - her alter ego. She also meets an American man named, Jack and falls for him. As Ah Na grapples onto the hope of a brighter future, the ghosts of her past soon catch up with her.
