Born and raised in Lhasa, Tibet, Tsering Yangkyi finished her MA in directing at the Academy of Film, Hong Kong Baptist University. She was selected into the 17th First Training Camp as one of seven directors mentored by director Anthony Chen.
Tibetan girl Yuzhen returns to Lhasa from her studies in the mainland to attend her grandmother's funeral. Unexpectedly, the plateau reaction prevents her from lighting the lamp for her late grandmother. In her dream, she finds her grandmother in a temple, and what happens along the way creates some subtle connections with real life.
