The most ordinary guy who grew up in the far northern tundra among the deer comes to the city of Yakutsk. It was then that his ordeal began. It would be fine, urbanization and other delights of urban life, but also the society of modern "schoolboys" who have never seen people in reindeer sheepskin coats! How will he get out of this situation? Or run back to the tundra, or become one of them?
According to the plot of the film, a young man named Vasya, a native of the village, decided to change his life, but brings on a lot of problems. He is kind, open-hearted, knows how to stand up for himself and is not afraid of anyone, but he promised his friend, a Chinese, to give the flash card to his father. This flash drive is being hunted by bandits who also need it.
A simple guy from the village named Haamaayy Baaska, having quarreled with his brother, runs away to the city. There, new friends and adventures await him.
