The inaugural short film for Season 8 of Motionpoems, themed: "Dear Mr. President." This is a visual poem dedicated to "Emmett Till, Trayvon Martin and every family denied justice," adapted from the prose of the same name by writer Tiana Clark.
This impressionistic adaptation of Cortney Lamar Charleston's poem "How Do You Raise a Black Child?" portrays the everyday life of a young black man growing up in America and the issues thrust upon his parents.
