On a full moon night, the young Najwa and the musician Mansour reach Beirut. They follow the trail of smugglers to join a woman on the other side of the sea. A few streets away, Selim, the old lighthouse keeper, tries to repair the electricity of his neighborhood.
It’s moving day. Sahar and Omar are new in town. When Sahar runs down to the local supermarket to grab some first-night essentials, the owner of the store leaves her in an uncomfortable situation. She returns to the apartment where her and Omar’s stagnant relationship leaves them speechless. Later, when Omar visits an old friend, we slowly unravel what undying love entails and how it can be threatened by routine and monotony.
Johanna, free and elusive, fascinates Simon, who admires her spontaneity as much as he suffers from it. Over the course of an evening, emotions intertwine, desires intensify and certainties crumble, shaking everything they thought they knew about love.
