However, Ophelia feels overwhelmed as her hallucinations continue to haunt her. She tries to escape the suffering by committing suicide, but is momentarily stopped by her best friend. Ophelia takes advantage of the slightest distraction to complete her task and cuts her wrists in the bathtub.
