An exploration of subconscious environments.
A child, his mother and a cat are living together. The mother dies and within this she destroys the garden. The cat goes into shock. It is only through the care of the child that the cat can begin the process of healing.
The film follows animals who live in the city. They try to imitate human behavior, but in the end they remain animals. They also undergo changes on the inside. They dream, develop longings and learn to love romantically.
