“The Story” stars Bode Miller, Lindsey Vonn, Bobby Brown, Willie Bogner, Chris Davenport, Kristi Leskinen, Chris Benchetler, Reggie & Zack Crist, Mike Douglas and numerous other stars of skiing, snowboarding, speed flying, paragliding, river surfing and kite skiing. The film takes viewers into deep character dives with the most famous skiers to the most obscure ski bums as well as to the top of Mount Everest, never before skied steeps in Alaska and various gut-wrenching variations on human flight.
"Beyond Skiing Everest" is the story of identical twin brothers Mike and Steve Marolt and life long friend Jim Gile taking ski mountaineering from their back yard peaks around Aspen, Colorado, and naturally progressing their sport to the greater ranges of the Himalaya and Andes over a 40-year period, and ultimately to being inducted the USA National Ski Hall of Fame. The film is a dashboard of sorts for the critical natural progression that is required for ultimate success not only with skiing the highest peaks, but life.
Built around 3 portrait sessions where young people become photographers before giving their lives during various suicide operations, LE PETIT OISEAU VA SORTIR attempts to present the contrast between the banality of the photographic gesture and the seriousness of the gesture that the 3 main protagonists are preparing to perpetrate.
