Munich in summer. Pensioner Gerd roams the streets collecting empty returnable bottles. He meets the working, partying and bathing city dwellers as an open and friendly man who always has a funny saying at the ready. But not everyone seems to be well-disposed towards Gerd. Bernhard Wohlfahrter's sensitive short fiction film unobtrusively criticizes society and questions privileges.
Vincent is 16 and aspires to achieve everything that makes a boy a man: moving out of his mother's house, finding acceptance among the boys on his football team, and sleeping with his girlfriend. But between his first love and the divorce of his parents, lies Vincent's longing to feel at home again.
Today is the most important day in Fine's career - she is playing the lead role in a play and everything is going perfectly. And yet something much more important actually happened that day: Fine was in the emergency room with a suspected malignant tumor. During the premiere party, she realizes how superficial many of her relationships are and her view of her job and priorities begins to change.
