The story revolves around Shankar, working in an advertising agency who comes to his village to invite his friends to his marriage. He remembers the good old days and also sees how his friends are faring now. All this is told in flashback.
It is a murder mystery which draws its inspiration from the real-life murders in Kerala and explores how a person can be framed and labelled a criminal, even if there is no solid proof of their guilt.
Avan Chandiyude Makan is a 2007 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Thulasidas. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Vijayaraghavan and Vakkom Jayalal in lead roles. The film had musical score by Sanjeev Lal.
