While the student Nora is having a party in her flat, Martin and Sabine are enjoying their anniversary together. However, what seems like cheerful normality turns into a nightmare during the evening as secrets and scandals are revealed. The relationship between Nora and her mother Sabine has been strained for years. Nora condemns Sabine for her mendacious dealings with Nora's biological father and her relationship with the artist Martin. When an anonymous social media account publishes several scandalous photos during the evening, the tide seems to turn in her favour. But the shocking secrets and intrigues of her friends are also made public, causing a much larger façade of lies to begin to crumble. The situation escalates until nothing is left but the plain truth.

Why can’t I just be me? Faced with yet again another family dinner discussion, Sam gets annoyed with Sams mother who just doesn’t understand that Sam is just not the little girl anymore who loved wearing dresses. Sam flees to a night club. There, during that night, in the safe space of the women’s restroom, Sam encounters the stories of other women. Some passed by the doorman, while others did not. Someone sits helpless in the locked cubicle, not daring to go out. Two women kiss passionately, protected from the gaze of others. For all of them, this night in the club means something different, but they are all united by the longing for a safe place where they can escape life for a moment.

In the short film “Iris,” a young couple embarks on a night in a remote forest in their van. When the young man briefly departs, their conversation in sign language reveals Iris to be deaf and mute. Once alone, Iris’ evening takes a sinister turn when she receives a series of ominous messages on her phone. These messages contain secretly taken photos of her in various locations, culminating in an image of the van at its current remote spot. It becomes clear that Iris is not alone. Fearing for her safety, she locks herself inside the van, draws the curtains shut, and turns off the lights, plunging herself into darkness and complete isolation.
