Two men involved in mining business, exporter and importer, find in a bar to make deals about their future transaction plans. Instead of business, they end up stuffing themselves, drinking and singing all night.
Based on the work of the same name by Branislav Nušić. The film satirizes societal obsession with money through eccentric characters vying for wealth in a lighthearted setting.
Based on personal experiences of the writer, it takes place in 1917 in the Serbian military hospital on the Thessaloniki front, where wounded and sick soldiers and officers open up many crucial discussions, while impatiently waiting for a general order to all allied forces for a joint breakthrough.
