This film is a gratitude to the Kazakh Koreans, Germans, Turks, Chechens, Kurds and other peoples of this land and the Kazakh people, who met them with due attention and sympathy, despite their incredible difficulties after the jute of the 30s. Batyr Bayan is a real historical figure, one of the legendary heroes of the 200-year war of the Kazakh people against the powerful Dzungaria for independence, territorial and political unity of the Kazakh Khanate. Following the poem, the film tells about the tragic love of a batyr for a young prisoner-Dzungarian.
The historical tape is dedicated to the outstanding Kazakh poet, fighter for justice, activist of the liberation movement in Kazakhstan at the beginning of the XIX century Makhambet Utemisov.
