Shadow of the steeple follows the adventures of Laura, Lucy and their local Vicar as they stumble upon an unsolved crime of the past... uncovered by Laura's newly found ability to speak with the afterlife! The three team, up to try and discover who really murdered Christina after finding out her fiance was wrongfully convicted of the crime.
Fay a young woman is bequeathed a large house on a private estate by her deceased Aunt Francesca and Uncle Dominic, whom she visited only once as a child with her mother. She never wished to visit again. Having become the owner of the estate, she cycles to the village location where the house stands and cautiously looks around the grounds. When she returns to her bike she finds it gone. As night draws in, she is left with no choice other than to enter the property and stay the night. This is the beginning of her terrifying, ordained destiny, from which there is no escape.
During a ladies night out, Feisty Viv, Boozy Angie, Dotty Doris & shy Jenny bump into Bruce, otherwise known locally as drag artist, Gyrating Rocket! As they get to know him/her more, they are dazzled, surprised and delighted by their new friend who shows them all that first impressions are not all they seem to be and that stockings are a nightmare even for men! And just wait till Fluffy Flo arrives!
