Mudos testigos is a cinematographic collage made from all the surviving material of Colombian silent films, re-editing the images in such a way as to create a single imaginary film: the impossible love story of Efraín and Alicia that traces the convulsive first half of the twentieth century in Colombia. Compiled by the late Luis Ospina and finished posthumously by Jeronimo Atehortúa.

Forenses (Coroners) interweaves three stories around disappearance and the collective memory in Colombia. The cartography of the country is transformed into a spectral map and the territory and the body merge with the geography. There, the disappeared share the same destiny: to exist, to persist and to resist in the image.

A homeless man is given a second chance at life when he's reunited with an old high school friend. Despite a seemingly bright future, his alcoholism and anger issues begin to weigh him down.

From the Main Square 2021

Encircling its central square, a new town emerges in all its diversity. A crossroad of stories, edifications, hopes, and conflicts altogether. Social ties and cultures take root. People nurture sympathy and care for their equals, but also animosity towards those who are different. It does not take long for an ‘us versus them’ atmosphere to take over. From the Main Square is an interactive VR experience that invites the viewer to witness the rise and fall of a divided society. A civilization blossoms, with all its contradictions, only to become a danger to itself.
