In 2420, after aliens and powerful space wizards enslaved human villages, a group of rebels organize a counter attack against their alien overlords by piloting fully loaded spaceships.
Set in a near future where Earth has been turned into a planetary ghetto by an alien species (informally called the 'Boogeys'), our story follows Jack Dawkins, a former-cop-turned-pickpocket as he tracks down a missing child about to be sold to an alien overlord. The encounter will determine the fate of the child's life, and Dawkins' redemption from the failures of his past.
After discovering the "Arcanum," a camera-like object, Syd begins to document his own reality. But when he starts to view previously recorded stories, he notices that all who have used the device have come to some unfortunate end. Soon after, he begins to experience disturbing hallucinations and unwanted visions. Syd realizes he must uncover this mystery, or he will die.
