This new dormitory is located in the middle of beautiful nature. But what everyone doesn't know is This area is a haven for people with sorcery, people who play games, and is full of mysteries that cannot be answered.
Tongpan is a 1977 Thai 16 mm black-and-white docudrama that re-creates a seminar that took place in Northeast Thailand in 1975 to discuss the proposed Pa-Mong Dam on the Mekong. Interwoven are sequences depicting a poor farmer, Tongpan, who had lost his land to another dam some years before, and his struggles to make ends meet.
Four outrageous drag queens run a boarding house for boys. After helping to cover up some mysterious deaths of local teens, the two spirits begin haunting the dormitory, forcing them to try all sorts of crazy schemes to get rid of the ghosts. To do so they must help the ghosts to avenge their death.
