A savage parody of the Polish film industry, where a self-appointed director and his hapless sidekick, joined by a bumbling businessman, attempt to make a blockbuster without a script, driven only by egos and the promise of cash. Poland in the 80’s was a country ruled by crisis and a sense of hopelessness. Only few knew how to turn crisis into a business. It was a golden time for them. How did they know what would bring them money? How did they operate in a country where almost everything was forbidden?
The adventures of self-proclaimed and overzealous director Mariusz and his two companions Gregory and Peter, who, after a failed attempt to make a film and escape from their creditors, nevertheless decide to finish the film and become giants of world cinema and shoebusiness sharks.
