During the carnival in Rio, the depressed César meets Silva, a man in full vigor of life and passionate about carnival.
One night André hopes to make peace with his boyfriend Ismael, who has other plans for that night: to break free. With the same intention, other beings cross paths with Ismael in search of pleasure and punishment for their guilt. Conscious or not, they just want to live.
