Thomas Clark, a screenwriter known for his B-movies, struggles to remain relevant while fighting to get his name off of the Hollywood Blacklist.
Alfie Zimmer, a traveling salesman, pulls into a motel for the night. He settles in and pulls out a revolver, ready to commit suicide. Alfie has a hobby of recording, into a notebook, random bathroom graffiti which he has discovered on his long, lonely travels.
