Apnea presents a week in the life of Chris and her friends. Chris does not want to sleep. Afraid of her sleep apnea and her own unconsciousness, Chris stays up several nights in search of some sort of sense to her life that she did not see during the day, always living on the edge of her own body, and of existence itself, and dragging everything around with her.
Tati, an introspective 13 year old girl struggles to connect with her estranged father, Jaca, after he is released from prison in the turbulent wake of the Rio Olympics. As Brazilian Pacification Police battle to maintain a tenuous occupation of the surrounding Rio favelas, Tati and Jaca must navigate the clashing forces threatening to derail their hope for the future.
Three ghosts are trapped in a house and haunt each new resident in order to finish their mission on Earth so they can move on to the next life. That is until a couple of architects move to the place and decide to renovate it, revitalizing it. However, they end up discovering that the mansion was the site of an old concert hall called "Fervo" and go through a series of misunderstandings with the ghosts played by Rita Von Hunty, Gabriel Godoy and Renata Gaspar.
