Comrades Mano and Sharan (Little Brother) travel from northern Iraq after Sharan's brother is shot by Iraqi militia forces. The Kurdish boys dream of a new life in Norway, but the new start does not turn out quite as they had imagined.
'Into my Darkened Home' is a drama about Sara, a 18 year old Norwegian-Kurdish girl, who is in a secret relationship with Erik. Sara lives a double-life, but after her parents discovers her relationship with Erik, she is restrained from him and all her previous privileges. Sara wants to live a life as a Norwegian girl in Norway, now she wants to break out of her family. This is hard for her as it affects her families honor, and the safety of her boyfriend Erik, it gets even harder when her parents makes her leave the country to marry her cousin in Kurdistan. Sara is pushed into a corner and has to make a decision, break away from her family or preserve the family honor.
After release from prison, he finds his brother mistreated and dying in the hospital. When trying to find out what's been going on, he soon is involved with Albanian mafia and responsible for his brothers debt.
Sala and a friend watch a football match between Argentina and Brazil, sparking an argument and a gun war. Sala kills his friend's father and moves from their village to the city. He encounters three men in a public park and defends a beaten guy. Later, he falls in love with a girl, Sozyar, and works selling watermelons. They win the match, but Sala scores an own goal. He follows Sozyar and they get married, moving back to Sala's village. Sala visits Hama, who sings a song for Sala's return.
