Tomas and his friends are happy in their town and school but must face the fact that some of the adults around are preparing to leave GDR and move to West Germany.
On March 22, 1983, Abdullah Yakupoglu, a Turkish worker living in Germany, killed his daughter Perihan. The documentary looks at the motives of Yakupoglu, who is interviewed in prison.
