A 30-year-old American woman enters a teenage party in the South of France. Some of the guests wonder who she is and what she is doing there.
Since the death of his wife, Christophe is a control freak. When a supervisor is declared absent for the snow holiday camp right before Christmas, Christophe volunteers, but his son Victor and Marina the biology teacher are not too enthusiastic about it. Christophe feels confident until he is gifted with a mysterious power: he can hear the teenagers' every thoughts.
After a violent argument, 15-year-old Sofia runs away from home. The next day, her parents and brother vanish without a trace. Over 20 years later, still haunted by unanswered questions about their disappearance overshadowed by 9/11.
