Laura, a young Lebanese woman, and her mother struggle to keep up with the escalating Lebanese economic crisis. In desperation, Laura comes up with an unexpected plan marked with nostalgia to survive tough days.
Just like all Lebanese people, Alfred — a high-school teacher — tries to adapt to the new socio-political situation caused by the Lebanese October Revolution. Overwhelmed by the media coverage, he ends up joining his students on the field to protest for change.
