Humanity finally rids themselves of Godzilla, imprisoning him in an icy tomb in the South Pole. All is peaceful until various monsters emerge to lay waste to Earth's cities. Overwhelmed, humanity is seemingly saved by a race of benevolent aliens known as Xiliens. But not all is what it seems with these bizarre visitors. If humanity wishes to survive, they must reluctantly resurrect their most hated enemy, Godzilla.
Takumi and his six-year-old son, Yuji, haven't come to terms with their wife and mother's death. One day, they meet a woman with an uncanny resemblance to her sheltering from the rain near their home.
Fumie returns to her room where she lives alone as if she is escaping from someone. She immediately takes off the underwear she was wearing and washes it. You stink. At the cinema where she works part-time, a colleague, a projectionist, stalks her, and Fumie's heart slowly begins to race. The film is a more eloquent and naked account of women's lives and their true feelings about menstruation. The film is a raw but lyrical portrayal of body odour, vomiting and other things that everyone tries to hide, as well as the fragile friendship between women, which leaves a strange aftertaste after watching.
