Yaqui dreams of wearing a beautiful dress at her school graduation party, in Antaymisa, a community between three thousand meters high mountains, in Peru. Upon discovering that her brother-in-law has once again beaten her older sister to death, and as she deals with an unpleasant first sexual experience, she begins to feel uncomfortable at the silence of everyone around her. .
