Carter battles with the idea of fate after a life changing event. Their change of circumstances lead them to encounter a mirror with properties that seemingly contradict the universal laws of cause and effect. Carter struggles to find self control amidst the chaos.
When a group of 5 friends watch one of the members die, and then suddenly come back to life, they try to crack the code of what happened. Their findings lead them to believe they are living in a fake, virtual world and need to find a way to escape.
