Young Roman and his mother Oksana leave Ukraine and go to Germany, where she works illegally while they both live with Gert, an old widower who tries to befriend Roman, who struggles for his mother's attention and sees Gert as a rival.
The head of the family had two sons and a wife, but he did not have a goat. Once he was able to buy a very nice goat at the market and was extremely happy about it. But the goat set up the host against all members of the family, but it happened so that in the end her intrigues played tricks on herself. (Based on a Ukrainian folk tale. )

A large family reside in different Ukrainian cities. Mother and Father live in the Kiev suburbs, the oldest daughter in Mariupol, the second of the three in Vinnitsa, and the youngest in Chernigov. The son went on a work trip to Donetsk. Exactly in these cities on 24 February, they were caught by the war. All, by one way or another, find themselves in a bunker or shelter. The only means of communication is phone and video calls.
