A fairy tale about a town where all creatures and even nature consist of watch mechanisms. Trash scattered on the sidewalk, animals, birds, trees and the local population looks a bit like a robot – all this consists of a lot of details and diagrams. A watchmaker helps them all, the only man of flesh and blood in this country. As if being a doctor, he accepts those who have any complaints. Life goes on, until one day the unexpected happens.
The kid is trying to avoid going to the kindergarten, because at home, as he thinks, it is a lot more fun and enjoyable with the beloved cat. His parents and grandmother have to catch the boy and run after him, tearing him off the curtains and dressing the careless child. But they will still deliver him to the garden, and it is still more interesting there than at home.
On the eve of New Year celebrations, everyone is getting ready for the upcoming feast, dressing up Christmas trees and preparing gifts. The boy, who lives in one of the cities, looks forward to the moment when he opens the colorful boxes with surprises inside prepared for him. One of them was a kaleidoscope, which opened a new world to the hero, full of tales, colors and wonders.
