Poland, 1990. The first euphoric year of freedom, but also of uncertainty for the future. Four apparently happy women of different ages decide it's time to change their lives, and fulfill their desires.
Helina, a modest checkout assistant at the Butterfly retail chain, dreams about getting a better life for herself and her daughter. An opportunity presents itself when Helina becomes a store manager. However, she soon discovers that the price for better wages and an improved standard of living is dishonesty, employee exploitation, and fraud.
For 16 minutes and 3 seconds, we enter the life of a young woman, who experiences a strange and utterly disturbing situation on the road when driving her car. Unaware of the danger, we travel with her emotions until the unexpected and scary reveal at the end.
