In a Pill Bottle tells the story of Oliver, a young man who is dealing with depression after the loss of his little brother. When his Partner, Mia leaves in a desperate attempt for him to get help, Oliver goes into a downward spiral that may be the end of his relationship and ultimately himself.
James is trying to reconcile the relationship between him and his sister after their parents pass away but is reluctant on going to The Church of Life where she is now spending most of her time. After going back and forth about whether to go or not with his friend Michael, James eventually decides to go, leading him to have strange encounters with a few people.
Two teens, one from the Wollondilly Shire on the southwest fringe of Greater Sydney and the other from the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, form a suicide pact as they embark on a dark journey. When their past reappears, will they take the chance at happiness or turn their backs on it?
