In the village of Rockspring, the election of "little sheriff" is taking place, whereby a child is chosen to assist the local sheriff for a week. When a young girl is kidnapped, the sheriff sets off to rescue her, and the children organize their own search party to free their friend.

Bernd Fleig, Mario Sabatini and Adolf Seger, all stars of the wrestling scene in the 1960s and 70s, can always be found here, flexing their muscles regardless of their age. Embellished with music and images from the Californian fitness boom, the film traces their careers as athletes and gives a loving insight into the family-run gym that stood up to the big fitness chains.
