One day the mother-son garbage sorting duo Hilse and Tang learn of a new nationwide waste sorting campaign. A sense of injustice and a fear of losing their livelihood drives them to extremes.
The film tells the story of the last Estonian family, who did not want to eat potatoes despite their hunger. The father takes it upon himself to solve the problem and before long the dining table is full again. But at what price and for how long?
