After 20 years missing, João Grilo returns to Taperoá to join his old friend Chicó and, after his story of resurrection spreads, he is disputed as an electoral candidate by the two most powerful politicians in the city.

After months of recording suspicious activities, her initiative attracts the attention of a journalist, who approaches Nina and offers to support her in her mission.

In an unexpected incident, she gets to know Elena, who takes her to a support group for women who love too much or are excessively jealous: the League of those who are Obsessive-Compulsive for Affection (L.O.C.A., Brazilian slang for "crazy"). The therapist seems to be an extremely mature and structured psychologist. Manuela sees this group as a chance to write an incredible article about the current female roles and wishes.
