A group of young aristocrats lock themselves up, for fun, on a terrace in a wealthy building in Buenos Aires. Their parents try to get them out, but they threaten to jump down if any adults enter the terrace.
A criminal confronts the police by firing at them with a machine gun from the first floor of a villa on the outskirts of Buenos Aires and occasionally shooting down a policeman. The gunman has time to reflect, to load his gun, to run from one window to the other. Whoever leads the police notices the futility of his efforts and suspends the fire.
Two middle-aged brothers fall in love with a tango singer they have met in a gambling hall, after she is stranded in their border mining town, causing them to turn against each other.
