In a quiet fishing village on northern France's Opal Coast, the birth of a peculiar child sparks a hidden war between extraterrestrial forces of good and evil.
1983. The biggest architectural competition in history, both anonymous and open, is launched under the impetus of a new socialist president, François Mitterrand. Coveted by all the biggest international architectural firms, the competition is surprisingly won by an unknown: Johan Otto von Spreckelsen, an architecture teacher from Copenhagen. Until then, the fifty-year-old Danish had only built 4 buildings: his home and three small chapels.
In the Eastern Pyrenees, Jacqueline, age eighty-five, finds the paths which lead to the peak of Canigou. In this solitary walk, she observes, feels and remembers. The images of her past appear on her body, when the ascension of the mount was a family tradition. She witnesses a memory which little by little seems to infuse the mountain.
