Nico and Alice move with their 10-year-old son Mateo to the countryside. Caught up in the renovation of their new house they don’t notice their son’s strange behaviour. When Alice finally realizes something is wrong, it is already too late.
Four people have a strange relation with death. Anna is in love with a skeleton, Björn never leaves his home, afraid of being killed. Lucy is theatrical suicidal and Lars gets daily visits from his deceased mother. The four of them are in therapy with creative psychologist Herman. Unfortunately that is not a big success.
