Mary O’Brian is a nursing student, she’s struggling to make ends meet but it’s proving difficult to pay her rent and tuition. She’s never had any real luck and has no family to fall back on. In a world that’s deeply divided into zombie deniers and zombie believers, Carlotta, Colin and Paul are having a love triangle – only one of them is of the undead. In a world where the media's unsure how to report about the zombie outbreak without angering the sponsors, Carlotta invites her ex Paul into her house, ignoring the fact that he's actually a zombie - much to the dismay of her husband Colin, who had (unbeknown to her) killed Paul in the first place.
