Seikilos, who lived in prehistoric times, decides to commit suicide and, before doing so, calls in craftsmen from Egypt to mummify himself and his beloved Euterpe, whom he has killed. Thousands of years later, a shepherd living in the Aegean region accidentally opens the tomb, and Seikilos unexpectedly comes back to life. When he opens his eyes and cannot find his eternal love in the tomb, Seikilos begins to search for her.
