Rocker Kai Latvalehto has a wife and a son, almost everything a man could wish for. Still, he feels that something is missing. Accompanied by his father, he drives across Sweden to refresh his childhood memories of life in Gothenburg in the 1970’s. This journey of identities brings the two men closer.
Astrid goes to her family's summer cabin, her childhood's safe heaven, after having been brutally attacked by a stranger. Soon the secure and comfortable family reunion Astrid had hoped for turns into a nightmare when the stranger returns with a group of accomplices. What from the start seems to be a matter of home intrusion soon turns into something much darker and surreal.
A group of friends, having been told of a strange hermetic hippie-like society in the Swedish wilderness, set off on an adventure to find it. As they are drawn deeper into the forest, mysterious events start to unsettle the dynamics of the group, reality begins to shift in ways none of them could have imagined, and relations between the friends become volatile.
