25-year-old IT student Kerim hacks the outdated computer systems of public institutions and medium-sized companies to earn money and anonymously sells the security vulnerabilities back to them. When his childhood friend Zofia catches him at it and recruits him for the mysterious activist group "The Alliance", the two of them slide deeper and deeper into a political struggle against the system.
"Golden Times" tells a story of melancholy, alcohol and loneliness. In the nocturnal light of the street lamps, there are involuntary encounters between nameless characters on their staggering foray from kiosk to kiosk.
