Harmony had an encounter early in life with the young Elvis, and can't seem to shake his influence. Now a Pink Lady selling cosmetics, she seems to inadvertently bring harm to any Elvis impersonators she encounters. After a bizarre car accident leaves a slew of them dead, Harmony goes on the run from the authorities, hooking up with a downtrodden ad exec who has Elvis troubles of his own.
When Buddy and Carl’s prized automobile—a mint 1972 Delta 88 that somehow catches every yellow light—is stolen by a couple of slackers taking it for a joyride, they take off in ice-cold pursuit. As the two duos circle the streets casually playing cat-and-mouse and shooting the breeze, these amiable misadventures are set to a wall-to-wall soundtrack of underground bangers including a track by Killdozer, a live concert by the Blue Meanies, and a countrified cover of a Shellac deep cut.
On a snowy Christmas Eve, former mild-mannered college student Casey Smallwood is released from prison after serving 10 years for underage drinking. Eager to get out of town, he hops on the express train to Washington, D.C., but after the holiday express takes off into the winter wilderness, it’s hijacked by an angry gang of domestic terrorists and highly-intelligent, government-trained raccoons! Not one to back down from a raccoon fight, Casey joins forces with a porter on the train to fight the terrorists, help bring down a top secret, raccoon-controlled, military laser satellite and show those raccoons who’s in charge!
