Tova is alone, until she finds herself in a young woman named Agnes through some old home videos. When the videos doesn't end the way Tova anticipated, she tries to fix it by digitally rearranging the events from Agnes' life.
On a lonely widows daily trip to the supermarket she meets a stray cat. It follows her home, but soon makes itself more comfortable in her small Tokyo apartment than she could ever imagine.
