This anthology drama presents four short films honoring Chinese families, spotlighting the struggles of key groups across four pivotal eras: the revolution, construction, reform and opening up, and the new era, while highlighting their perseverance, dedication to ideals, and commitment to passing on the national spirit through generations.
The film "Migration" is a true reproduction reflecting this history from sadness to grandeur. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Sichuan Qiang novelist Gu Yunlong. The film's creators, after two years of interviewing and researching, collected a lot of vivid and touching first-hand materials, and based on this artistic processing, the magical alpine visual elements combined with the original ecological Qiang culture, making the film has a unique epic quality.
