Um das Menschenrecht 1934 (6)

This Nazi propaganda film tells about the "freikorps" movement in post-World War I Germany. Freikorps were armed extreme-right-wing paramilitary groups, often composed of street thugs, ex-convicts and unemployed veterans, who engaged in street battles and assassinations of political opponents, usually leftist or Communist groups. Many of these "freikorps" were absorbed into the S.A. (Storm Troopers) and, later, the SS after Adolf Hitler came to power

In A Small Café 1930

"A woman arrives terribly late for a date with her husband in a small café. He has given up, so – as bad luck would have it – the two pass each other in the revolving door. When they do actually meet up, she has a lovely surprise for her husband ... Structured like a theatrical sketch, this comical commercial for a Dortmund fashion boutique uses puns and situation comedy to document the first stirrings of the consumer society in Germany." - Berlinale 2018

Jägerblut 1957

Young forester Sixt is wounded one night. Smuggling in the mountains is the reason. By day, the brothers Benno and Simon Schaidler are respectable citizens - by night, they are smugglers and poachers. They daredevilly pursue their nocturnal "craft". However, a number of people in Aurach have no idea of the smugglers' activities. For example Barbara, the landlady of the "Gamsbock", and her sister Gretl. One night Sixt, the young forester, is wounded by a pistol shot. Suspicion falls on forester Aiblinger, since it is his lost service pistol that is found near the wounded man.
