La Femme n’est plus ce qu’elle était 1978

A parody of feminist criticism on found footage covered by humoristic chisellings, signs or hasty figurative elements. Sometimes, chisellings are fine, and sometimes they are treated in large shots (razor tears, acid, cutting the film itself, wide spraying, thick stamps). A bedsheet is used as the final screen from which various women's evocations are represented.

Rudolph Valentino s’est suicidé pour moi 1979

Rapid rhythms due to a geometrical treatment of the images, of which most of the chisellings are oblique lines. Insertion were made with film scraps inside the chisellings. A seventeenth century music adds a touch of original anachronism to the film and dialogue with the reading of a superficial text about Rudolph Valentino.

Guimauve et baisers bleus 1983

From the rushes of a black and white TV show, we can illustrate subjective feelings of the cineast. An obvious aesthetical concern is noticeable from the accuracy of chisellings. The use of acid and colored ink and felt-pen, offer effects of portrait and of stylized writing. Rhythms are punctuated by humoristic references from character’s portraits.
